Deep family roots

The Nettle family’s passion for propeller repair runs deep, spanning generations and establishing a true family business legacy. It all began with Van Michael Nettle, the founder of Nettle Props, and his son JT Nettle, who joined his father in the 1984 at their family-owned welding shop. In the early 1980s, they ventured into repairing and selling propellers, laying the foundation for what would eventually become a globally recognized company.

Over the years, various family members have joined the business, contributing to its growth and success.
